Nesil Staney

Before joining the BER program, Nesil worked as a financial reporter for leading business dailies in India. He has written numerous investigative stories as well as breaking news on India’s financial markets and companies during a two-year stint at Mint, India’s fastest growing business daily. He worked as a Senior India Correspondent reporting corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions for The Mergermarket Group, a FT Group wire. Nesil received a degree in English Literature from the Mahatma Gandhi University in 2003 and a post-graduate diploma in Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) New Delhi in May 2005.
Since graduating from the program, Nesil is working at The Economic Times in Mumbai, where he covers corporate finance.
