Sui-Lee Wee
Sui-Lee Wee was a fellow from 2007-2008 and is now a correspondent for Reuters in Beijing, where she covers China’s politics and general news. Before this, she was in Hong Kong, covering Macau’s casino industry and China’s energy companies, where she co-wrote an investigative report about organised crime in Macau’s casinos that prompted an investigation by Nevada casino regulators.
She has also covered commercial real estate from New York with The Wall Street Journal and the Southeast Asian stock markets from Singapore with Reuters.
She holds a Master’s of Arts in Business and Economic Reporting from New York University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Studies from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
She loves writing, discovering new things and traveling.
